We feel bad about our self more then we want to admit. It reduce the quality of our life. So how can we be more happy and proud of our self and our work. I have been thinking about it for quite some time and what I have come to the conclusion that if you want to be happy now you have to think about your future.

As humans we cannot live in vacuum we seek meaning in our life. We want some goal that we are working towards so that we find happiness in now. It is a good idea that you work at least 8 hours a day. Work is good for you and your psyche.

When you set some goals and work towards them on the daily basis you feel that your life worth something and that you have some higher purpose in this small life of yours.

So how can you find meaning and happiness now by doing work for the future.

 

Set goals

 

It is important that you set goals in your life. You should always look forward to the things that you want to accomplish in your life. If you do not have something that you are working towards then you feel what is the reason of walking at all. That start a negative cycle but we do not want it.

So it is better to stop the problem at the start and set some goal. All of us want something in life lets make a list and keep achieving them one at a time.

 

Make a daily action plan

Once you have decided what is the that you want to do with your life now. You need to get to the next level in which you you will decide on the things that you have to do on regular basis so that you can achieve your goals.

Goals are achieved in long run so it is a very important thing that you make good habits a part of your life. When something becomes a habit it become effortless for you to do it. So if the things that you have to do on daily basis for achieving your goals become’s your habit then achieving goals will become automatic.

 

Do the work

It is I think the most important step you have to do the work it do not matter how small the work is or how much time it take you to complete it. You should keep working no matter what. Do not be discouraged by the small setbacks they will come on your way no matter what, just keep going.

Work on less then three projects at a time

 

It is important that you work on less number of projects at a time so that you can give your best to it and get most out of your work. When you work on more then three projects in your life you start to get distracted more then so your effort get wasted on things that are not important.
You are always in the process of putting out fires not living your life.
