Are you interested in knowing how can you use your time better? It is a hard thing to do. But you have to do it so that you will be able to see the life what really meant. It is just a waste of time watching TV you do not get any value from it. So if you really want to grow and learn thing then you have to get rid of it.
After you have get rid of your TV habit you have to replace it with something. Because now you have a lot time in your hands. And if you do not want to get in the old habit of watching TV or videos on net.
You need to have some purpose in your life that you want to fulfill. So not it is the time that you got free from you TV watching you are going to use it in that manner. So that you will be able to get what you want from your life.
It will be hard at start as all habits die hard. You have to think it like a old habit and you can get rid of habits. So it is possible that you will be able to get rid of this excess.
Whenever you are thinking about changing any habit in your life. You should focus on small action that you can do that will change the hole thing.
Like in our above example where you want to stop watching TV. It is hard to just give up TV all together for most of us. So what you can do is add a small different action before it.
Like if you want to do more exercise at the place of watching TV so what you can do is simple do 5 swats whenever you think about watching TV. For example you watch TV when you get back from work.
So before you switch your TV on you have to 5 swats. That is it.
If you don’t have time to do it right, when will you have time to do it over?
Make a habit of recording
Most often what people do not do is record what they are doing. But it is very important that you keep a good record of whatever you are striving to become good at.
If you do not have a point of reference with you. You will never be able to find out what you have achieved. For example you want to develop your strength and do more push up. If you do not keep record how many push ups you can do now you will never be able to find out if you have really improved or not.
Most people spend more time and energy going around problems than in trying to solve them.
Set up a reward system
It is important to have a reward system in place. So whenever you complete a take in your action plan you know that you will be rewarded for it. So that you mind will look forward to it to get the reward out of it.
Most people what they do is that they set large goals at the place of small action steps and it take a long time to achieve large goals. So what happen is that there motivation runs out before it get’s done.
So what they think is that they cannot achieve anything in there life but the truth is they have set a very large goal and did not given it time to happen. So make sure that you do not do that.
Time changes everything except something within us which is always surprised by change.
