Freeing Yourself From Your Mind

We all are slave of our mind we have a though about what we can do and we cannot. You cannot achieve something that you thing you can’t do. So in life if you want to achieve anything worth achieving you have to first get determined that you can do it in your mind.

If you think that you cannot do in your mind it will be difficult to do in real life as compare to the thing that you think that you can do. So to start with you can use the method that is provided in think and grow rich. Think of thing that you what to achieve as you have already achieved so that you can make an imagination that you have done it already.

Your subconscious mind cannot differentiate between what is real and what is just an fragment of our imagination. If you want to free yourself from your mind you first have to find out the difference between what you thought is real and real itself. I know it is hard thing to do.

Your mind is like remembering machine so it will keep all the information that it think is important and it will keep you reminding of those till you do them or make a plan to deal with them.

For example your mind know that you have to pay your mobile bill but for some reason you are not paying it right now. So it become important for your brain to make a note that you pay so it will keep reminding you till you do so.

So this thing will keep coming to you that you have to do it. But if you set a reminder in your calendar that you will pay the bill on Friday then your brain do not have to remember it knows that you will pay the bill at that given time. So it will let go of thing that are being accounted for. The best way to achieve is to use getting things done method.There are three steps to do it.

Brain Dump


So in brain dump you will writer anything that is in your mind in the same place. We will call it your in box it can be a sheet of paper, a word file or a note book. This is the place where you will write everything that come to your mind. You will stop storing things in your subconscious and write everything done.

So when ever anything pops in your mind you will write that in your in box.




In this step you will see all the things in your in box and divide it into tasks and projects. A project is a task that cannot be done in a single step. Like writing a book. A task is like buy a bulb.

You can divide the things in several different category and will look at them at the right time. For example if anything that have to go in grocery shopping list you will keep only one of this kind of list.




In this step you will decide on things that are important to you now and will work on them at this time. You cannot work on everything at the same time so it is very importation that you make the selection.

It is pretty straight forward you will do the things that you have selected. Breakdown all the things that you have to do in small parts so that you will be able to handle it. If you try to do a lot at the same time then you will not able to achieve the objective of a clear mind.

This is the step that you will follow and will help you make your mind more clear and you be able to complete more things. And be more happy with yourself and the work that you do.
