Read every day
If you are not reading every day you have to start now. Reading gives your ideas and motivation to work. When you read new books you find solution to your problems. Then you apply the things that you learn from reading books your life improves.
Leaders are readers. If you look at any of the great leaders of history you will find that they have a habit of reading. Great books have a tendency of expending your mind. You cannot be same after reading something great.

Develop new hobby
Trying new things in your life is always good. You have new experience and you learn something new about yourself. Learning something new expands you mentally or physically depending on hobby.
Developing new hobby is a surefire way of improving yourself. When you start to learn new thing you will find that you are challenged. You have to improve upon the current level of skill and knowledge to do something that you have never done, to become something you never where.
Get up early
Most of the successful people have a habit of walking up early. Some wake up at 5 a.m. do some exercise, read or meditate before going to work. There are some who wake up even earlier as 4 a.m.
Waking up early give you a peaceful time when you can focus on yourself. You can work on thing like exercise, meditation, reading or listing to audio books what will make you better. Because once the day starts you will not get time for these things.

Form good habit
Do you think that you do not have the life that you wanted? If that is true, then the reason for that is simple you do not have the habits that are needed for that kind of life that you want to live. So it becomes very important that you form good habits.
Forming new habits in the start are hard. But when you get in the habit of doing new things that are good for your will see that it was worth it. Start with these five habits reading every day, exercising, waking up early, doing 5 most important things first, meditation you will see a significant improvement in your life.
Get out of your comfort zone
If you stay in your comfort zone you will not grow. What is your current comfort zone? What can you do to get out of your comfort zone? You should ask yourself these questions so that you can improve.
Do you feel comfortable in life right now? Then there is a good chance you are not growing. Just like building muscles when you lift weights that are easy you do not make muscle. If you want to make muscles you have train to your current limit and keep pushing.
Follow your to-do list
If you do not have a to-do list then make one. If you do not know what are things that you need to do then you will never get it done. Write it down. A list in your head is not good enough you have to write you list down. When you complete a task make a mark on your list.
If you have a to-do list but never follow it then it is time you start doing that. The best way to complete things on your to do list is by looking at your list today multiple times a day.
Then main reason for most of people for not doing their work is that whey forgets what they need to do as the day goes by.
The only way you are going to improve yourself is by knowing yourself first. So find out what are good and bad habits that you have. Remove bad habits from your life and focus on replacing them with good ones.
When you know what your faults you can work on them. If you think that there is nothing wrong with you then why you do not have the life that you wanted. In some areas we are ok in some we bad so what we need to do is make our ok good and our bad ok. Keep working it all of the areas become good.
Then you should focus on all you good and make them great.
Action gives you result. It can be a good result or bad depending on type of action you take. Thinking and dreaming for things to happen will not get them done. Only way anyone has ever got anything done is by taking action.
Most of time people focus on things that they should not be doing. But the right thing to do is focus on things that you should be doing. So at the place of I should not eat processed food you should be saying “I should eat healthy foods” at the place of saying “I should not waste my time watching TV” you should be saying “I should use my time to develop myself”.
If you start doing that you will see, not only you are getting better results you are also focusing on positive in your life.
