Dress Well

 

You have herded this one before I know it. But I am going to teach you how to apply it. Whenever we think about development we think because we have seen someone who is better than us and we want to be like him or better them him. It can be person that we know or some we see on T.V or movies and we want to be like him. So the first and easy thing that you can do is.

 

Start wearing the same kind of cloths that he/she is wearing. It will feel different at first. But when you will notice the change you will be thankful that you did that. An important note you should not tell anybody that you are doing it. If someone finds out just say that it is a coincidence.

 

Dress well not only means cloths you have to act like him or her and feel it to be real. Speak like they do wake the same way. It will feel uncomfortable at first then you will get used to it. Does not worry about being a copy of someone always remember there is nothing new under the sun?

 

Take Care of Yourself

 

What do I mean by taking care of you? I mean both physically and mentally. You should exercise every day. Eat healthy as possible. These two things will do wonders with your energy level.

 

Your mental health is also important you can try several different things for improving you mental health. The two things that I like the most is yoga and meditation. It gives a clear mind all day long. It is hard to get started but really easy after some time. Like every new habit it will take some time getting use to.

You should at least one book a week. I complete 3 books every week. It gives me so many new ideas and feel my mind with positive thoughts. When you start to read you can learn from other people experience and make them your own. So go on and read something new today.

 

Learn Something New

 

We you do so new you activate new neurons in your brain. It keep your mind active and sharp. You will meet new people and make friends. As reading something new every day is necessary. It is also important that you learn some things new also. The best way to learn something new is to work with a coach.

 

If you work with a good coach you can drastically reduce your learning time. As compare to doing it yourself. So make a list of things that you always wanted to learn. Arrange the list according to priority and start learning.

 

Get Out of Your Comfort Zone

 

Development happens only when you get out of your comfort zone. If you want to develop muscles you have to push your body to limit then rest. Then do the whole process again. Because you have pushed your muscles to limit they will break down. And when new muscles form they will be bigger and stronger than before.

 

This are some of things that if you do on regular basis you will start to see changes in your personality. You do not need more than 1 hour to apply this principle to your life. You should set aside one hour daily to work on your personal development. You can achieve a lot if you set some time apart. It is important to note that you will make more progress if you work one hour a day then working 5 hours at weekend. Law of compounding works in your favor.

You can apply this principle in your daily life by focusing on one thing at a time. For example you decided that you will focus on dress well tip so what you need to do.

 

On the first day you will find the person that you admire. Take note what they ware how they walk and talk. The next day you will buy some cloths. Start small first only buy a pair. Then ware then practice their habits how they walk and talk in the mirror for 30 days.

 

Why 30 days? Because in 30 days the new habit get ingrained in you. So now you will get used to wearing and walking and talking like the person you want to be like. It is in the same way as the children do they copy their parents to learn things. Like how to use spoon how to tie shoes etc. with little help from the elders and lot of practice they learn to those things effortlessly.
